I have been in the helping profession since 2014 and worked with individuals, families, and communities in Nigeria and Canada. My passion is providing space and healing to people who have been through Traumatic/challenging experiences.

My approach to treatment necessitates therapeutic alliance, which encourages the mutual development of therapy goals. I use the family systems theory as a grounding modality based on the premise that most adult challenges are deeply rooted in childhood experiences. I recognize that no one approach is ideal for every Individual. Therefore, I draw from different clinical modalities like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, Person-centred approach, and biopsychosocial approach trauma-focused therapy. I have amassed training and experience in trauma, abuse, and addiction. I am a part of/have experience working with BIPOC families and communities.

not taking new clients I work from a client-centered and trauma informed approach, and am able to connect both, with those who are eager to begin counselling, as well as those that may be hesitant. It is my job to hold space for whatever you bring into the room - be that anxiety, trauma, happiness, depression, excitement, grief, or otherwise. I dedicate time in order to build a safe and trusting relationship with those that I work with in order to facilitate the healing process, and help explore the most vulnerable parts of self.
